Detroit – Four people were injured in a shooting Friday at a tax business on Detroit’s east side after a dispute broke out over a refund.
Police arrested the shooting suspect near the scene, and a second person, wanted for allegedly assaulting a security guard, turned herself in to police Friday evening.
The shooting happened just after 3:30 p.m. at Tax City Tax Service in a strip mall on the 7400 block of Gratiot. Three people are in serious condition and a fourth is in critical condition.
According to police, a 27-year-old female customer became upset because her tax refund wasn’t ready. A physical altercation broke out between her and a security guard. A 19-year-old man who accompanied the woman to the store pulled out a handgun and started firing, police said. Full Article
